Performing "Step By Step," Livingston was joined by the 9-member gospel group "Overjoyed" at a concert at Berklee College. Liv recorded "Step By Step" in Nashville with the New Day Jubilee Chorus, conducted by Andrae Crouch, for his new album "There You Are Again."

He also performed "Step By Step" joining Carly Simon and BeBe Winans (as well as Kate Taylor, and Ben and Sally Taylor) at a show at Harlem's famed Apollo Theater. ("The surprise star of Saturday's show, however, was Livingston Taylor. He brought the house down with a hellfire number called "Step by Step..." - FOX News)

During the inauguration speech of Berklee College's incoming President, Roger Brown, Livingston was quoted about the passion of Berklee's students: "Livingston Taylor, one of our most colorful faculty members, loves to explain that when a student goes to Harvard, where Liv is a resident advisor, it is the result of an 18-year concerted effort on the part of the entire extended family to get that young person admitted. When a student comes to Berklee, it is often despite a concerted effort on the part of the entire extended family to talk her out of it. As Liv says, students don't choose to come to Berklee, they are compelled to come to Berklee. They have no choice".

In response to many requests for chords to Liv's songs, we have added printable TAB to a few selected songs in PDF format. They can be found on the Lyric page.
